We're having a baby girl!

Today we went into New Life UltraSound. They are located in Murrieta and do an awesome job with ultrasounds and treat you like royalty. I recommend it to everyone who is pregnant! I am only 16 weeks along and we were too impatient to wait to find out the sex, so we went in early. We were there for about an hour and they took a lot of pictures and made a movie of our little girl. She was so cute, kicking her little feet, sucking her numb, eating and even sticking out her tongue at us. I loved it! We are naming her Madison Wooten. We haven't thought of any middle names yet, that will be our next job. We are so excited for this little girl to come into our lives :)

Baby News

Well I know it has been forever since I have posted anything new. Sorry! Life has been busy and great, so I should have been blogging about something, but I am finally back. Most of you know that Kevin and I have been trying to have children and with the magic of science ( in vitro) we are now pregnant. What a great Christmas present. I am 11 weeks and I have been feeling great. No morning sickness ( knock on wood) , just a little tired :) We are so excited for our little miracle. Our due date is July 14, so I will keep you posted on what is happening in the baby world. Thanks for being patient with me not posting anything for along time. Merry Christmas :)

Cabo Wabo

This weekend we went to Cabo with Kevin's parents. We own a timeshare ( that's another crazy story) so we decided we should use it. Our timeshare is for a Junior suite, but whenever they have a larger room available they will give it to you at the same rate. So when Kevin called they had the Presidental suite available ( which is about $8,000 for the week. We didn't pay that much of course since we own the timeshare. The hotel is breathtaking. We had the most gorgeous views of the ocean and city. We were so high up in the hills. Our room was over 2100 square feet and our balcony was as big as my classroom. It also had a jacuzzi tub on the balcony which faced the ocean. Talk about relaxing. Here are some views from our room

Here is a view from the beach looking at our room. It is the tallest building there.

Kevin and me on our balcony, then relaxing at the pool.

The weather was extremely hot, so we spent the first day at the pool for about 5 hours and then took a water taxi around the sea of Cortez, where another boat almost chopped off my hand. What can I say it is Mexico.

The waves were crazy!!!

Then we walked around town and went to dinner at the Shrimp Factory. They have great seafood in Mexico.

The next day a tropical storm named Lowell decided to come to town and take away my sunshine.
It was so windy that all the beaches were closed that day at the resorts, but you could still go in the pool. We were up at the top pool at our resort ( they had 5 pools there) and it started to pour down rain on us. It was so much fun swimming in the rain. Almost everyone left the pool except us. We had such a blast. The 3 days went by so fast ,but we had fun and were glad to make it home before Tropical Lowell took over the town.

New School Year.. New Look

I started back at school today. I was so nervous this morning, like a kid. I could hardly eat my breakfast. Kevin thought it was so cute. I started teaching third grade this year. It is my first year in third grade, but my fifth year teaching. Time goes by so fast. Anyway when I was little school was always so exciting to me. I knew since 5th grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I loved when school started and I got new clothes, school supplies and a new hair do. So I decided after growing my hair out for 2 years that I need a change. I love it and I hope all of you do too!

Kitty Update

Here are some new pictures of our kitty, Charlie. He is getting so big, and more lovable everyday.
I took him in last week to get neutered and he was perfect. The vet said they don't even realize what just happened to them, and he has been a lot more calm. He really loved the pain medication. He ended up licking the syringe when I finished squirting it in his mouth. He is so fun to have around. I had to share his adventures with everybody!

Movie Night.. Outside

On Friday night we went to watch an outdoor movie with our friends the Baxters at Harveston Lake in Temecula. I love how communities put on such fun things to do during the summer. In Murrieta they have concerts every Saturday night in the park and then two summer movies in September. If you go to your cities website they will post what summer activities are going on. Anyway we walked from Vince and Amanda's house over to the park and had a picnic dinner. I haven't been on picnic since I was a kid. I miss going on them. At the park they had a lot of activities going on before the movie. They had games, bubbles, arts and crafts and music. Josh who is two had fun at the playground swinging, and I had fun getting to hold Kara, who is almost 3 months old. Amanda and Vince have great kids. I hope mine are like that. Wishful thinking:) At 8:30 when the sunset they put the movie on. We watched Madagascar. I had already seen, but Kevin, Vince and Josh hadn't. They enjoyed it. Kevin liked the penguins the best. We had a blast. Thanks for hanging out with us Baxters!

Twilight Series

Ok, so I know most of you have read the Twilight Series, but I just finished the last one and I can't wait until August 2 for the new one to come out! Thank you Meagan for suggesting I read these books. I just couldn't put them down. If you haven't read them yet, you must. They are so good. Its was as additive as reading the Harry Potter Series for me. I can't wait for the movie to come out. We will all have to go see it together! Thanks again Meagan :)
